We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of Security Services to lead and oversee our comprehensive security program. This executive leadership role is responsible for developing and implementing the overall security strategy, managing a team of security professionals, and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company assets and data. This role requires a deep understanding of the security landscape, strong leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement security strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Lead and manage security team: Lead and manage a team of security professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Oversee security operations: Oversee the day-to-day security operations, including incident response, vulnerability management, security awareness training, and security assessments.
  • Budget management: Develop and manage the security budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support security initiatives.
  • Risk management: Develop and implement a robust risk management program to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks.
  • Compliance management: Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and standards.
  • Vendor management: Manage relationships with security vendors and service providers.
  • Communication and collaboration: Communicate effectively with senior management, other departments, and clients on security matters.
  • Stay up-to-date: Stay current on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
  • Strategic planning: Contribute to the overall strategic planning process, ensuring security considerations are integrated into business decisions.
  • Incident Response Leadership: Lead incident response efforts during security incidents, coordinating resources and communication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Experience developing and implementing security strategies and programs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Relevant security certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA, are highly desired.
  • Experience in a regulated industry is a plus.
