We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate student or recent graduate for an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience as a QA – Testing Engineer Intern at COE Security, a leading software & security company.

This opportunity is structured as follows:

Training Period (First 6 Months):

This is an unpaid training period where you will receive comprehensive guidance and practical exposure to the core practices of software testing, quality assurance, and test automation. During this time, we expect your full availability to ensure maximum learning and development. If you are unable to demonstrate your capabilities during the first 6 months, you will have the option to extend your training for an additional 6 months to further improve your skills.

Minimum Skills Required for Training:

Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile testing, Waterfall testing).
Familiarity with manual testing, test case design, and defect reporting.
Basic knowledge of testing tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or any similar tools.
Exposure to automation testing tools like Selenium, Postman (for API testing), or Appium is a plus.
Fundamental understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how they interact.
Basic knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
Internship Period (Next 6 Months):
Upon successfully completing the training period and demonstrating your potential, you will transition to a paid internship. During this phase, you will work on real-world projects, such as creating and executing test cases, automating test scripts, identifying and reporting bugs, and collaborating with development teams to ensure quality.

Full-Time Role Consideration:

After completing the 12-month program (training + internship), based on your performance and contributions, you will be encouraged to apply for a full-time position with COE Security.

Responsibilities:

Manual Testing: Execute test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications, identifying bugs and reporting them in a detailed manner.
Automation Testing: Assist in creating and maintaining automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.Test Case Design: Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test plans.
Defect Management: Track, report, and manage bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
API Testing: Learn and perform API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
Regression Testing: Conduct regression and performance testing to ensure system stability after updates.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure quality.
Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, reports, and user guides.
Learning New Tools: Stay up-to-date with emerging testing tools and technologies to improve testing practices.

Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Basic understanding of testing concepts such as functional, regression, and performance testing.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript (preferred for automation).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
Passion for learning and interest in software quality assurance and testing.
