We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Penetration Tester with a specialized focus on emerging technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Artificial Intelligence (AI), complex applications, Internet of Things (IoT), hardware, and embedded devices. This role demands a deep understanding of these technologies, their unique vulnerabilities, and the ability to conduct advanced penetration testing to identify and exploit security weaknesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct penetration testing: Perform penetration testing on a variety of targets, including LLMs, AI models, web applications, mobile applications, IoT devices, embedded systems, and hardware.
  • Vulnerability research: Research and analyze emerging security vulnerabilities in LLMs, AI, IoT, and other relevant technologies.
  • Develop custom exploits: Develop custom exploits and tools to test for vulnerabilities in these specific technologies.
  • Reverse engineering: Reverse engineer hardware and firmware to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Security assessments: Conduct comprehensive security assessments of target systems, including vulnerability scanning, manual testing, and code review.
  • Report writing: Prepare detailed penetration testing reports, documenting identified vulnerabilities, their potential impact, and remediation recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams to address identified vulnerabilities and improve security posture.
  • Stay up-to-date: Stay current with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques in the rapidly evolving landscape of LLMs, AI, and IoT.
  • Tool development: Contribute to the development and improvement of penetration testing tools and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in penetration testing, with demonstrable expertise in at least two of the following areas: LLMs, AI, IoT, embedded systems, hardware security.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and practices.
  • Experience with various penetration testing tools and techniques.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Bash).
  • Experience with reverse engineering tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with common software and hardware vulnerabilities.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Relevant security certifications, such as OSCP, OSCE, GPEN, GXPN, or similar, are highly desired.
  • Experience with specific AI/ML frameworks and platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with hardware debugging and analysis tools is a plus.
