Head – Security Practice | India

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to head our Security Practice. This individual will be responsible for the overall vision, strategy, and execution of our security service offerings. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the security landscape, a proven track record of building and managing successful security practices, and exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the security practice strategy: Define the overall vision, strategy, and roadmap for the security practice, aligning with the company’s overall business objectives.
• Build and manage the security team: Recruit, hire, train, and manage a high-performing team of security professionals.
• Develop and deliver security services: Develop and deliver a comprehensive portfolio of security services, including penetration testing, vulnerability management, incident response, security assessments, compliance, and security architecture design.
• Manage client relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying new business opportunities.
• Drive revenue growth: Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth for the security practice.
• Manage P&L: Oversee the financial performance of the security practice, managing budgets and ensuring profitability.
• Stay abreast of industry trends: Continuously monitor and analyze emerging security threats and technologies, adapting the security practice to meet evolving client needs.
• Thought leadership: Represent the company as a thought leader in the security industry, speaking at conferences, publishing articles, and participating in industry events.
• Develop and maintain security standards and methodologies: Establish and maintain industry best practices and methodologies for delivering security services.
• Collaboration and cross-functional alignment: Work closely with other departments within the company to ensure seamless integration of security services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in the information security industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Deep understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies across various domains, including application security, network security, cloud security, and data security.
• Proven track record of building and managing successful security practices.
• Experience with developing and delivering a wide range of security services.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
• Relevant security certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CCISO, are highly desired.
• Experience with sales and marketing of security services is a plus.
